Atteson’s holiday homes are located in the Rokua Unesco Global Geopark area, a unique ice-ridge-shaped sand ridge and danger area. You can enjoy the scenery of Rokua by hiking, skiing, cycling and, for example, paddling on the soup lakes.
The cottages are located on the shores of small Lake Kirvesjärvi, where you can easily take a dip from your own pier. The accommodation capacity of the two cottages is 12 people, but there is room for dozens of anniversaries, for example. In the new courtyard kitchen, completed in 2019, you can prepare meals idyllic by the open fire and also take advantage of the fully equipped kitchens in both cottages.
Atteson’s holiday cottages are open all year round. During the summer, you can swim, fish, row or paddle in a canoe or sup-board, mushroom and berry picking, ride mountain bikes or go hiking or running. In winter, you can go skiing in the area, ice fishing on the abundant lake, rent plain or slippers, or even explore the terrain on a snowmobile. Atteson offers all of these activities, and more.
Both cottages are fully equipped and comfortably furnished. Both have a fireplace, the trees of which are included in the rental price.
The nearest shop can be found 17 kilometers from Kylmälänkylä and restaurant, spa and fitness services three kilometers away from Rokua Health & Spa. The nearest cities Utajärvi and Vaala are about 20 km away. The distance to Oulu Airport is about 100 km and the nearest railway station is in Vaala. Also ask about Atteson’s transportation services.

CLEANING AND LINEN
Final cleaning and linen are not included in the rental price. The client is advised to take care of final cleaning and to bring their own bed clothes and towels. The cottage is expected to be left in the same condition as it was when the rental period started. Instructions for final cleaning are inside the cottage. Ask for additional services (the final cleanind and linen acn be rented), if necessary.
RENTAL PERIOD AND MAINTENANCE
The rental period begins on the day of arrival at 15.00 and ends on the day of departure at 12.00.

The cozy outdoor kitchen, “Pikkukööki”, which was completed in the summer of 2019, can be rented out for a small additional fee. In the stylish and cozy courtyard kitchen you can spend time grilling by the open fire or enjoying breakfast in the middle of nature.

Rent for your use a high quality and comfortable lot completed in the summer of 2020. The lot can accommodate very six people at a time.
The 45Kw power stove heats the water to fit in less than two hours and the filling takes about 90 min. So a lot is ready to use at its best in less than three hours
A lot can be rented primarily for the use of Rokua Unelma cottage, but if there are no tenants in Unelma, a lot can also be reserved for Simpuka. Ask this separately.
